About the role

Join Salter Brothers Hospitality’s Food & Beverage team at our Hunter Valley locations – Spicers Guesthouse, Spicers Vineyards Estate, and The Convent. You will create memorable, personalised experiences for guests while supporting a high‑standard restaurant environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver unforgettable, personalised service from start to finish, building guest loyalty.
• Promote and sell food, wine and experiences that match guest needs.
• Maintain restaurant presentation, set‑up and break‑down dining areas, and assist with special events, banquets and private functions.
• Process payments accurately, handling cash, credit cards and room charges per hotel policy.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety regulations at all times.

Required profile

• Prior experience in a la carte, high‑end restaurant environment.
• Valid NSW RSA certificate.
• Passion for great food and wine with a vibrant, outgoing customer‑service style.
• Willingness to work rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.
• Reliable transport and proximity to the retreat or willingness to relocate.

Required skills

• RSA certification (Responsible Service of Alcohol) – NSW.
