Food & Beverage Outlet Manager - Akoya Restaurant

About the role

Langham Hospitality Group is looking for a service-centric, luxury-minded professional to join its team as Food & Beverage Outlet Manager at Akoya, the beachfront restaurant at The Langham, Gold Coast. Akoya is described as a produce-driven restaurant featuring freshly shucked oysters, premium line-caught seafood and expertly grilled selections. The manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations and organisation of the outlet.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure guest experience and loyalty
• Oversee quality and engage and support colleagues
• Drive profitability and productivity
• Manage the overall functions of the outlet and ensure efficient operations
• Maintain high standards of service
• Implement strategies for revenue generation and cost minimisation

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Restaurant or Venue Manager in a similar venue
• Proven experience in leadership and customer service
• Good communicator who enjoys interacting with people
• Tertiary qualification in Hotel/Hospitality/Business or similar is highly regarded
• Australian work rights; sponsorship is not offered

• Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a passion for developing and motivating staff
• Passion for service excellence and superior hospitality
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Superior grooming and presentation
• Relevant certifications such as RSA and First Aid are a plus
