About the role

The Langham, Gold Coast is seeking an innovative and passionate Commis Chef to help deliver memorable dining experiences for guests. You will work alongside highly skilled chefs in a fast‑paced, professional kitchen environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present high‑quality à la carte dishes to five‑star standards.
• Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations and service delivery, ensuring consistency, presentation and flavour across all dishes.
• Maintain strict food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Completed technical education in hospitality or culinary school.
• Australian work rights (no sponsorship available).
• Ability to thrive in a high‑pressure, fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Sound knowledge of current industry trends.
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
