About the role

Key responsibilities

• Provide seamless food and beverage service, ensuring a premium tropical experience for every passenger.
• Maintain strict compliance with HACCP food safety standards and aviation security requirements airside.
• Adapt quickly to fluctuating passenger volumes and changing flight schedules.
• Uphold a professional appearance and act as an ambassador for the Cairns region.
• Collaborate with team members across the venue to ensure smooth daily operations.

Required profile

• Valid background check and ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
• Reliable transport for early‑morning or late‑night shifts.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster aligned with airline timetables and peak periods.
• Relevant experience or qualifications such as a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery for kitchen roles.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HACCP food safety procedures.
• Understanding of aviation security protocols.
