Food & Beverage Assistant Manager

About the role

The Food & Beverage Assistant Manager balances day‑to‑day management of the Mode Kitchen & Bar, ensuring smooth operation during service periods while developing and engaging the team.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a strong operational presence across all meal serving periods to ensure service standards and optimal guest experience.
• Provide leadership, development, support, coaching and constructive feedback for the team.
• Drive performance by setting metrics, identifying improvements and leading industry trends.
• Manage labour and operating expenses through effective scheduling, purchasing decisions and stock control.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a restaurant leadership role in a 5‑star hotel with high volume and quality focus.
• Passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences and authentic, engaging leadership style.
• Positive, can‑do attitude with strong communication and resilience.
• Collaborative approach to build strong relationships across hotel departments.
