About the role

Join the casual team at Derwent Bridge Hotel, providing front‑of‑house service, bar support and kitchen assistance in a fast‑paced, guest‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver front‑of‑house waiting and service duties for food and beverages.
• Process orders, handle cashiering and manage dockets accurately.
• Set up and reset restaurant areas and support conference/function activities.
• Assist in the kitchen with cleaning, dishwashing and basic food preparation.
• Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant and public bathrooms.

Required profile

• Experience in food and beverage service with a passion for local produce.
• Strong bar and cocktail‑making abilities.
• Excellent customer‑service mindset and communication skills.
• Flexible to work a 7‑day roster including weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate.
• Completion of a Do Food Safely Certificate.
