Food and Beverage Attendant - Banquets

About the role

Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour, a Sofitel Ambassador, is looking for a Food and Beverage Attendant for its Banquets team. The role helps create seamless, five-star events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale conferences, by supporting event flow, anticipating guest needs and delivering polished service.

Key responsibilities

• Support event flow and anticipate guest needs in a dynamic environment.
• Present dishes and beverages with precision and flair, covering plated service, buffets and cocktail functions.
• Maintain impeccable standards across all service styles, from room set-up to service delivery.
• Work collaboratively with a high-performing team, bringing a positive, flexible and "can-do" attitude.

Required profile

• Passionate, detail-oriented professional with a naturally engaging presence who connects well with guests.
• Experience in a high-end or fine dining environment is valued.
• Current RSA certification.
• Flexibility and reliability on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
• Full Australian working rights.
