About the role

Join APM Employment Services as a First Nations Employment Consultant, supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander job seekers across multiple sites in Queensland. You will provide culturally safe, holistic services to help participants overcome barriers and secure sustainable employment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with local employers and community groups.
• Develop tailored, culturally safe employment pathways and plans for participants.
• Enhance employability skills and provide ongoing support to both job seekers and employers.
• Deliver services in line with contractual and compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
• Willingness to complete a National Police check and obtain a MyID (standard level).
• Ability to pass a Working with Children check.
• Eligibility to work in Australia.
