Finishing Foreman

About the role

An established construction contractor is seeking an experienced Finishing Foreman to lead the finishing stages of a landmark luxury high‑rise residential development in Broadbeach, Gold Coast. You will work closely with the Site Manager and Project Management team to ensure high‑quality internal finishes are delivered on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day finishing works across the project.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and trades.
• Ensure works meet high‑quality standards and programme requirements.
• Oversee internal finishes such as joinery, tiling, painting, flooring and other trades.
• Conduct inspections, manage defects and rectification works.
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Maintain communication with subcontractors, consultants and the project team.
• Assist with programming and sequencing of finishing trades.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Finishes Foreman on commercial or residential building projects.
• Strong knowledge of high‑end internal finishes.
• Experience on high‑rise or multi‑storey projects is highly regarded.
• Ability to coordinate multiple trades and subcontractors.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Relevant construction qualifications.
