Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst

About the role

The Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst supports the FP&A Manager and the wider finance team by delivering the annual business plan, owning reporting deliverables, and improving processes. The role works closely with internal finance teams and business partners to provide insights that drive decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse financial data—including budgets, revenue, expenses and cash flow—to produce insights for reporting and internal decisions.
• Prepare and review reports, presentations and other materials for senior management and stakeholders.
• Monitor KPIs, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend improvements.
• Support consolidation of forecasts and the annual business plan across the profit and loss.
• Collaborate with finance systems teams to enhance reporting processes and migrate from Excel to Google Sheets.
• Enhance monthly processes such as CAPEX tracking, FTE reporting and management reporting to reduce manual effort.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in an analytical finance role.
• Strong numeric and financial literacy with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging senior stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (complex formulas, visualisation).
• Data manipulation tools such as AppScript, TM1, BigQuery, SQL, Power BI (or willingness to learn).
