Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will report directly to the CFO for Australia and New Zealand and lead the ANZ Corporate Finance team. The role focuses on financial reporting, month‑end and year‑end processes, variance analysis, statutory disclosures, external audits, cash flow forecasting, tax and treasury requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting and ensure P&L and Balance Sheet integrity in line with International Accounting Standards.
• Manage month‑end reporting within four business days and lead external audits and statutory disclosures.
• Partner with finance leadership and broader business to improve financial processes and leverage technology.

Required profile

• CA/CPA qualification with 10+ years of experience in a large accounting firm, publicly listed company or large corporate environment.
• Proven leadership and people‑management skills, with the ability to lead teams and navigate change positively.
• Excellent organisational, time‑management and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with SAP Business One or similar accounting, ledger management and consolidation systems.
