Financial Controller – APAC Regional

About the role

This position reports to the regional finance leadership team and is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, consolidation, and accounting across APAC markets. The role combines technical accounting, regional reporting, and team leadership within a global NYSE‑listed business.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee monthly reporting and consolidation for all APAC markets, ensuring accurate and timely submissions to the global head office.
• Review financial submissions, accounting treatments, performance variances, and strengthen internal controls, including SOX reporting.
• Lead, develop, and review the work of the regional reporting team while building effective relationships with local finance heads and global stakeholders.
• Support forecasting, annual budgeting, quarterly business reviews, and provide technical accounting guidance for acquisitions and opening balance‑sheet reviews.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualified finance leader with strong multi‑entity consolidation experience in a multinational environment.
• Proven people leadership and stakeholder management skills across international markets.
• Experience with SOX compliance and US GAAP is highly desirable.
