Financial Analyst

About the role

The Financial Analyst provides financial and commercial support across HammondCare Foundation, Healthcare & Hospitals and strategic capital development initiatives. This permanent part‑time position (3 days per week) is based in St Leonards with hybrid working options.

Key responsibilities

• Own month‑end financial processes for the Foundation, including journals, accruals and reporting.
• Prepare monthly management reports, variance analysis and commentary.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and long‑term capital planning using Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Produce financial analysis, trend reporting and scenario modelling.
• Prepare KPI reporting across Health, Foundation and Innovation portfolios.
• Develop strong relationships with finance and non‑finance stakeholders and act as a trusted financial adviser.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of practical experience in a similar corporate finance role.
• Tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, economics or related discipline; CA/CPA qualified or working towards qualification.
• Commitment to HammondCare’s Christian mission and inclusive values.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and strong financial modelling abilities.
• Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Knowledge of Power Query, Power BI or other reporting automation tools.
