Financial Accountant – Month-End Close Specialist

About the role

YETI is looking for a proactive Financial Accountant to manage core accounting activities for assigned entities. You will own the month‑end and year‑end close processes, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support cross‑functional teams with sound accounting judgment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute month‑end and year‑end close activities for designated legal entities.
• Prepare, review, and post journal entries, accruals, pre‑payments and adjustments.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Produce financial statements, supporting schedules and management reports in line with US GAAP/IFRS.
• Partner with auditors during internal and external audits, providing required documentation.
• Identify control gaps, recommend mitigation actions and support continuous process improvement.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Operations, Supply Chain, Tax and Technology teams to ensure accurate financial outcomes.
• Support system enhancements, automation initiatives and maintain process documentation.

Required profile

• 2+ years of progressive experience in financial accounting, audit or related roles.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and/or IFRS.
• Ability to work independently, exercise professional judgment and resolve complex accounting issues.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• CA, CPA or equivalent qualification (or in progress) is preferred.
