Finance Officer – Payroll & Accounts Receivable

About the role

AccorHotel is seeking two Finance Officers for its Darwin Airport Resorts. The role will split focus between payroll processing and accounts‑receivable functions, supporting the resort’s financial health and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end weekly payroll processing, ensuring compliance with tax, superannuation, PAYG and Fair Work requirements.
• Collaborate with department heads to resolve payroll enquiries and maintain accurate HRIS data.
• Maintain daily cash‑reconciliation spreadsheets and process credit applications.
• Verify direct‑billing room rates, conduct month‑end reconciliations and resolve invoice queries.
• Manage guest and city ledgers, monitor overdue accounts and handle billing disputes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
• Previous experience in hotel finance, payroll or front‑office operations.
• Strong technical aptitude and high digital literacy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Experience with payroll processing and modern award interpretation.
• Knowledge of tax, superannuation, long‑service leave and national employment standards.
• Proficiency in using HRIS and finance software for data integrity.
