Finance Manager

About the role

Reporting to the Director, you will own the day‑to‑day finance function for a growing construction supply business, delivering accurate reporting across the company and its projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and lodge BAS, manage tax obligations and lead month‑end close‑outs.
• Produce project financial reports using Procore and manage accounts and reconciliations in Xero.
• Oversee payroll for 43 staff, ensuring compliance with EBA conditions.
• Work with project managers to keep costs and cash flow on track.
• Identify and implement automation, including AI tools, across finance processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role, preferably in construction.
• Strong knowledge of BAS, tax, month‑end processes and project reporting.
• Experience overseeing payroll under EBA conditions.
• Ability to build relationships with project teams, suppliers and leadership.

What we offer

• Salary $120,000–$140,000 plus super
