Finance Manager

About the role

Gray Puksand is seeking an experienced Finance Manager for its Melbourne studio. This full‑time position combines strategic financial leadership with hands‑on management of day‑to‑day finance operations, reporting to the General Manager and senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the finance function, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely reporting.
• Partner with senior leaders to provide strategic financial insights, budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management.
• Identify and implement best‑practice processes, efficiencies and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Develop and mentor finance team members, building capability and engagement.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and resolve concerns proactively.
• Support governance, audit and compliance requirements.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualification.
• Proven experience in a Finance Manager or similar leadership role, preferably in a professional services environment.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and people‑leadership skills.
• Commercial acumen, high attention to detail and ability to work both strategically and operationally.
