About the role

Balance Search is representing a substantial Perth‑based organisation seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead a sizeable finance function in a high‑volume environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, support and develop a sizeable finance team.
• Oversee high‑volume finance operations and manage financial reporting, audit and control requirements.
• Maintain strong financial governance and process discipline while working closely with senior stakeholders and external advisers.
• Identify risks, resolve issues, improve efficiency, accuracy and accountability of finance processes, and provide practical financial advice to support business decision‑making.

Required profile

• Experience as a Finance Manager, Financial Controller, Senior Finance Manager or senior manager in Big 4, mid‑tier or complex public practice.
• Proven ability to lead a sizeable finance or accounts payable team in a large‑scale or complex corporate environment.
• Strong background in financial reporting, audit, controls and governance.
• Confident communication style with senior stakeholders and external auditors, and resilience to manage competing priorities.
