Finance Manager, FP&A & Projects (Health Insurance)

About the role

The Finance Manager – FP&A & Projects supports commercial decision‑making across the Health Insurance business, turning financial and operational performance into insights that drive action.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate annual budgeting, forecasting and long‑term planning processes for Health Insurance projects.
• Provide accurate, timely and insightful financial and operational performance reporting for senior leadership.
• Analyse performance against plan, identify drivers, trends, risks and opportunities, and recommend actions.
• Prepare monthly project reporting, commentary and planning submissions for Group FP&A and other stakeholders.
• Partner with Finance Business Partners and business leaders to improve forecast quality and support commercial decisions.
• Develop and maintain financial models and analyses for business cases, investments and strategic initiatives.
• Coordinate financial inputs for deep dives, planning discussions and key business reviews.
• Work closely with Actuarial and Finance teams to align assumptions and create an integrated performance view.
• Identify and deliver improvements to planning, forecasting, reporting and governance processes.

Required profile

• Strong commercial thinking and deep FP&A experience in a large, complex organisation.
• Ability to connect financial and operational performance to identify result drivers.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field, with CA or CPA qualification.
• Strong analytical capability and experience improving finance processes and reporting.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and build trusted relationships.
• Experience leading or developing others.
