About the role
The Finance Business Partner will support the Commercial Manager by driving financial performance and accountability across operations. The role focuses on delivering accurate reporting, cost management and analytical insight to improve decision‑making.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with Operations to identify and implement profit improvement initiatives.
- Manage inventory valuation, stock control and product costing to ensure accurate COGS.
- Lead the monthly IBP planning cycle, produce rolling forecasts and analyse variances.
- Own month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing for the Operations P&L, providing detailed performance analysis.
- Develop and present financial models that highlight more efficient operating approaches.
Required profile
- Accounting degree with CPA qualification or currently studying towards it.
- Significant experience in a similar finance role within a manufacturing environment, preferably FMCG.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and internal control procedures.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
- Experience working with large ERP systems.
