Finance Business Partner

About the role

MECCA is looking for a Finance Business Partner to join its Commercial Finance team in Richmond. Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, you will own the commercial performance of your portfolio, act as a trusted advisor to Heads of and General Managers, and work on high-impact initiatives across a fast-growing, customer-first eCommerce and Loyalty business.

Key responsibilities

• Own the P&L for your portfolio, identifying risks, opportunities and key commercial drivers
• Provide commercial insight, financial modelling and strategic recommendations to senior leaders
• Partner across departments on strategic initiatives, business cases and transformation programs
• Deliver forecasting, reporting and scenario modelling that improves revenue and optimises margins
• Drive continuous improvement across reporting, planning, systems and commercial finance processes

Required profile

• 3+ years' experience in commercial finance, financial analysis or business partnering, ideally in retail
• Degree in Commerce, Finance or a related discipline
• Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and challenging assumptions
• Ideal candidate has experience analysing loyalty program performance and customer data

Required skills

• Strong financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting and analytical capabilities
• Advanced Excel
• TM1, Tableau, SQL or other data visualisation and planning tools highly regarded
