Finance Advisory Officer

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Advisory Officer to join our corporate hub on Adelaide’s City Fringe. In this role you will provide financial support and guidance across a network of group entities, handling transactions, budgeting and reporting while collaborating with multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Provide financial advice and support to various entities, ensuring accurate processing of payroll, accounts receivable and payable.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and long‑term financial planning.
• Develop, implement and maintain effective financial processes, procedures and internal controls.
• Support the preparation of year‑end financial statements and audit requirements.
• Offer temporary finance coverage during leave periods to maintain continuity.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and deliver practical financial guidance.

Required profile

• Qualified CA or CPA (or currently studying towards qualification).
• Experience in public practice, audit, consulting or business services looking to transition to a commercial finance role.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and analytical ability.
• Excellent communication skills to convey financial information to diverse audiences.
• Organised, proactive and collaborative with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• High proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
