FIFO Surveyor

About the role

Fyfe, an Australian multidisciplinary consultancy, is looking for a motivated and experienced Surveyor to join its Adelaide-based FIFO team. The role covers a wide range of surveying disciplines including engineering, civil, cadastral and 3D reality capture surveys, with a 2-weeks-on, 2-weeks-off roster flying from Adelaide, Sydney or Melbourne.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality surveying services across major infrastructure, energy and resource projects.
• Use advanced surveying technologies, including drones, GNSS equipment and 3D reality capture systems.
• Support the planning and execution of engineering, civil and cadastral survey projects.
• Build relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
• Contribute to safe, efficient and accurate project delivery in remote FIFO settings.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar surveying role.
• Ability to work effectively in changing and remote project environments.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• High attention to detail and willingness to work a 2:2 FIFO roster.
• Australian citizenship, permanent residency or full Australian working rights; agency applications are not accepted.

Required skills

• Experience using a range of survey equipment and technologies.
• Proficiency with Trimble GNSS equipment, robotic total stations and Trimble Business Centre (highly desirable).
