FIFO Crane Technician – Overhead Crane Electrician

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Overhead Crane Technician – Electrician to join a FIFO 2:1 roster based in Perth, WA. The role involves servicing, maintaining and repairing overhead crane equipment across mining sites in Western Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair overhead cranes and associated equipment.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults across crane systems, controls and components.
• Conduct routine inspections, preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on‑site.
• Troubleshoot motors, drives, control systems and electrical components.
• Complete maintenance reports and relevant service documentation in line with site safety procedures and Australian Standards.

Required profile

• A‑Grade Electrical Licence.
• Previous overhead crane experience.
• Construction White Card, Working at Heights certification and a valid Driver’s Licence.
• Ability to work on a FIFO 2:1 roster from Perth.
• Strong commitment to safety, reliability and punctuality.
