Field Service Technician – Material Handling Equipment

About the role

Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA) is looking for a Field Service Technician to join its Perth branch. The successful candidate will perform breakdown repairs and routine maintenance on a wide range of material handling equipment, ensuring reliable operation for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical repairs, preventative servicing and emergency breakdowns on customer units across Perth.
• Provide professional customer service and maintain clear communication with clients.
• Accurately complete job sheets, timesheets and other required documentation.

Required profile

• Current driver’s licence.
• Relevant trade qualification (e.g., Forklift Mechanic, Automotive Electrician, Light Vehicle Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle, Plant or Diesel Mechanic).
• Forklift licence and LPG certificate are advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong work ethic, self‑motivation and good time‑management skills.
• Effective oral and written communication.
• Willingness to undertake training and adhere to safe work practices.
