Field Forklift Mechanic / Service Technician

About the role

We are looking for a mechanically‑minded Field Forklift Mechanic / Service Technician to join Crown Equipment’s nationwide service team. You will work across a dedicated territory, delivering scheduled maintenance, safety checks and breakdown repairs for our customers’ material‑handling equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Service and repair forklifts and other material‑handling equipment in a defined territory.
• Perform routine and reactive maintenance, including safety and function checks.
• Accurately record all work performed and maintain service documentation.
• Assist in preparing on‑site quotes and identify opportunities for additional sales.
• Manage inventory on company‑provided service vans and at customer sites.
• Stay current with emerging automation and telematics technologies.

Required profile

• Mechanically minded individual seeking a career change or progression.
• Willingness to complete an 8‑week onboarding and training program.
• Ability to work full‑time in a field‑based environment with occasional overtime.
• Strong customer‑focused attitude.
