About the role

The Blue Mountains City Council is seeking a Facilities Cleansing Officer to join the team responsible for cleansing public facilities (toilets) in the Blue Mountains. The position involves general cleaning duties carried out to a high standard. Because the work takes place in public places, effective and polite communication with colleagues and members of the public is required.

Required profile

A current driver's licence.
Proven experience in, and sound knowledge of, cleaning methods and procedures, including facility cleansing.
Ability to interpret and follow cleaning schedules and to use technology.

What we offer

Base salary commencing at $54,601 gross per annum.
Adverse working conditions allowance of $2,839 gross per annum.
12% superannuation.
Annual performance-based salary increases or bonus (1-3.5%).
Annual award increase.
