Experienced Solicitor (Family Law) – 3+ years

About the role

Madsen Law is seeking an experienced Family Lawyer to join its close‑knit team in Loganholme, Brisbane. You will work alongside the Principal (a QLS Accredited Family Law Specialist), a Senior Associate and the wider family law group, taking ownership of your own caseload.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end family law matters including property, children, divorce and DVO cases.
• Conduct litigation in the Federal Circuit and Family Court – mentions, interim hearings, mediations and negotiations.
• Maintain direct client relationships and provide clear, strategic advice.
• Collaborate within a supportive team structure with oversight from experienced directors.

Required profile

• 3+ years post‑admission experience (PAE) as a solicitor.
• Confidence to run matters independently and appear in Federal Circuit and Family Court.
• Willingness to extend practice into Estate Law.
• Right to practise in Queensland (certificate required).
• Familiarity with LEAP or similar practice‑management software.
