Experienced Highways Engineer – Perth

About the role

Join WSP's Transport & Infrastructure team in Perth to design and deliver major road, highway and freight projects across Western Australia. You will work alongside leading technical specialists, using digital engineering tools to shape the future of transport infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review road design solutions, technical reports and engineering documentation for complex highways projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to deliver integrated transport outcomes, managing scope, schedule, budget and quality.
• Apply digital engineering tools such as OpenRoads, automation and GIS integration to improve project delivery.
• Provide technical review, verification and independent checking of design deliverables, and mentor emerging engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered status (CPEng) or actively working towards it.
• Experience in roads and highways engineering, including planning, design or delivery of transport infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of Australian Standards, Main Roads WA requirements and contemporary road design practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency with road design software such as OpenRoads Designer.
• Experience using GIS integration and digital engineering workflows.
• Strong communication skills for multidisciplinary team collaboration.
