About the role

The Executive Officer provides high‑level executive, administrative and coordination support to the Corporate Executive and the State Solicitor. This trusted position requires sound judgement, the ability to manage competing priorities, and an understanding of executive support within a complex public‑sector environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison across the State Solicitor's Office, coordinating high‑level communications.
  • Support governance, business and strategic planning activities.
  • Ensure effective follow‑through of executive decisions and drive continuous improvement in corporate and governance processes.
  • Contribute to audit, risk and compliance activities.
  • Lead priority projects and monitor their delivery.
