Executive Director – Corporate Services

About the role

The Executive Director, Corporate Services reports to the CEO and is a key member of the executive leadership team at the Environment Protection Authority Victoria. This senior leader is responsible for overseeing the agency’s core enabling functions – finance, people and culture, legal, governance, information technology and facilities – ensuring they are integrated, fit for purpose and support the regulator’s mission.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight of finance, HR, legal, governance, IT and facilities services.
• Integrate corporate functions to align with organisational strategy and regulatory objectives.
• Ensure organisational resilience and prudent stewardship of public resources.
• Deliver efficient, accountable corporate services across the agency.
• Act as a trusted partner to the CEO and Board, providing sound judgement and governance advice.

Required profile

• Extensive senior leadership experience in corporate services within a complex public or regulated sector.
• Proven ability to integrate finance, people, technology and governance functions.
• Credible advisor to senior executives and boards.
• Strong commitment to public value and regulatory outcomes.
• Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
