About the role
Mackellar, the mining services contractor for Bravus's Carmichael Mine in the Galilee Basin, is expanding its team and looking for experienced excavator operators. Flights are available from Townsville, Rockhampton or Cairns, and the roster is 7 days on, 7 days off with optional overtime on day shifts. The camp, pit and airport are all within 5 minutes, and there is an onsite village with meals, gym and recreation areas.
Required profile
- Minimum 12 months' experience operating 400+ tonne large open cut mining excavators and large mining dozers
- RII competencies, or a verified training transcript within the past 5 years
- Current Standard 11 licence and driver's licence
- Strong commitment to safety, team-focused attitude and willingness to contribute to continuous improvement
