About the role
FMS Group is looking for an experienced drill fitter to join its Diesel Division in the Bowen Basin, with an immediate start on a 7:7 rostered schedule. The role suits someone with previous experience on heavy machinery in a mining environment, providing a high standard of service to clients through proactive safety and the ability to diagnose and repair heavy machinery.
Required profile
- Relevant trade qualification
- Sandvik drill experience (essential)
- Experience working in a mining environment
- Coal Board medical
- Standard 11 statement of attainment
- Current driver's licence
- Proven ability to liaise with management and clients, with problem-solving, decision-making and communication skills
- Uncompromising attitude to safety and ability to meet site requirements
