Events Coordinator

About the role

Belmont Christian College is looking for a passionate, organised Events Coordinator to join its Mission & Community team. Reporting to the Marketing & Media Manager and working closely with the Director of Mission & Community, you will coordinate and support a range of College events and community initiatives that engage students, families, staff and the wider community. The role is permanent part-time, 45 hours per fortnight, term-time only, with flexible scheduling.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, promote and deliver College events such as Mother's/Father's Day stalls, graduations, college tours, orientation days, parent information nights, end-of-year festivals and coffee mornings
• Coordinate event logistics, registrations, suppliers and communications, and work with staff and volunteers to ensure successful delivery
• Support the Marketing & Media Manager with communications on the Sentral Parent App and parent newsletter
• Help capture and share stories that celebrate the College's life and mission
• Ensure health and safety protocols, including risk management, are applied to every event, and that events follow the College's approval and expenditure processes
• Occasional attendance at events outside school hours may be required; hours are arranged with the applicant and supervisor

Required profile

• Personal commitment to the Christian faith, active participation in a local church and support for the College's vision
• Demonstrated experience in events and marketing
• Strong organisational and administrative skills, able to balance several projects and deadlines
• Current Employee Working with Children Check (or able to obtain one before starting)
• Desirable: relevant tertiary qualifications and photography/videography skills
