About the role

McNab is seeking an Estimator for its growing Brisbane team to support cost plans, tenders and pricing for repeat work, ECI opportunities and hard‑dollar tenders. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on estimating, collaborating with project teams and delivering accurate, competitive submissions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cost plans, tenders and pricing submissions for multi‑residential, retail and industrial projects.
• Review drawings, specifications and project requirements to identify risks, gaps and commercial opportunities.
• Prepare subcontractor packages, bills of quantities and liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing.
• Maintain up‑to‑date market rates and pricing information.
• Use estimating software such as CostX to support accurate pricing and measurement.

Required profile

• Proven estimating experience in multi‑residential, retail and/or industrial projects.
• Commercially aware with strong attention to detail.
• Confident preparing cost plans, tenders and pricing.
• Strong communicator with good stakeholder management skills.
• Quantity Surveying or related background highly desirable.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CostX or similar estimating software.
