Estimating Manager - Infrastructure Projects

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking an experienced Estimating Manager to lead the development of high‑quality estimates for large‑scale infrastructure projects across Victoria. Based in the South Melbourne office, you will shape pricing strategy, ensure consistency, and drive strong commercial outcomes while building capability within the estimating function.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the estimating strategy, methodology, and pricing for major project tenders.
• Coordinate inputs from business units, disciplines, and subcontractors to produce integrated estimates.
• Oversee risk identification, assumptions, and commercial positioning to optimise bid outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation in estimating practices, tools, and systems.
• Lead estimate reviews, governance processes, and executive‑level presentations.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and capability development for the estimating team.
• Build alignment and influence stakeholders across complex project environments.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading estimating on major infrastructure or complex project bids.
• Strong expertise in pricing strategy, risk management, and estimating methodologies.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder engagement skills across diverse teams.
• Ability to deliver accurate, high‑quality estimates under tight deadlines.
