About the role
Reporting to the Site Manager, the Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Lead is accountable for the health and safety performance of the Seven Hills site and supports broader operational risk initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Set site EHS performance direction through target setting and monitoring.
- Drive continuous improvement to ensure compliance with legislation and Kraft Heinz global best practice.
- Develop and apply policies, management systems and controls across EHS.
- Lead EHS audits, create action plans and mitigate business continuity risks.
- Produce qualitative and quantitative EHS reporting and support rehabilitation and return‑to‑work programs.
- Participate in ESG initiatives such as energy conservation and waste reduction.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years experience in EHS or safety management within a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of relevant legislation and experience dealing with regulatory agencies (e.g., Workplace Health and Safety QLD, Department of Environment & Science).
- Proven experience with safety management systems, EHS auditing, and rehabilitation/return‑to‑work processes.
