Entry Level Sales and Customer Service Consultant

About the role

Smaart Recruitment is recruiting for a fast-growing Australian education and tutoring company that launched in 2020. It is looking for Entry Level Sales and Customer Service Consultants, particularly recent university graduates, final-year students and people from hospitality, retail or customer service backgrounds. The role is based in the Melbourne CBD, near Flinders Street Station.

Key responsibilities

• Connect with warm leads to understand the needs of students and families and recommend suitable tutoring programs.
• Handle warm inbound and outbound calls, emails and texts with students and parents; no cold calling.
• Follow up with warm leads and families who have completed or registered for a free trial.
• Manage a busy sales pipeline and convert suitable leads into new enrolments.
• Build customer relationships and handle questions and concerns.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and work towards activity, conversion and revenue KPIs.

Required profile

• Recent university graduate or final-year student.
• Experience in hospitality, retail or customer service, or a background in sales.
• Strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and confidence speaking with customers.
• Own laptop, or willingness to buy one.
• Full Australian working rights (no student or working holiday visas).

What we offer

• Full-time, permanent position with a salary of $70,000 - $80,000 plus super and commission of $10,000 - $15,000 per year.
• Monday to Sunday rotating roster, with weekends worked from home after probation.
