Enterprise Sales Development Representative - AI Construction Tech

About the role

A remote-first, Australia-based sales development role for an AI construction technology platform that runs the entire operation of Tier 1, 2 and 3 AEC (architecture, engineering and construction) firms. The client is hiring two SDRs and wants someone who can open six-figure conversations with construction businesses that are still managing projects on spreadsheets and email. The role covers all of Australia, with monthly targets from qualified conversations through to closed revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Own the national patch with no territory carve-up and no waiting your turn
• Run outbound outreach to construction businesses and build qualified conversations
• Meet monthly targets that run from qualified conversations through to closed revenue
• Build enterprise-level deals with multiple stakeholders; career path is SDR to Senior SDR at around twelve months, then Account Executive

Required profile

• 1 to 2 years of experience behind you
• Experience hitting targets in a phone-heavy outbound role (e.g. real estate, insurance, broking, recruitment)
• Background in building, construction, estimating or surveying, or 2-3 years in another field ready to make the jump
• Ability to pick up the phone, take rejection and keep going

• Base pay of up to $85k plus uncapped commission on a 70/30 split, with accelerators past target
