Enterprise Architect

About the role

TechnologyOne is looking for a Principal Architect within its Enterprise Architecture and Governance team. This is a strategic, enterprise-level role that connects business priorities with technical outcomes, leading architecture initiatives and shaping future capabilities so that products and delivery teams can grow and innovate.

Key responsibilities

• Create strategies, architectures and designs for future product features and capabilities
• Maintain architectural documentation, conduct health assessments and report on outcomes
• Define integration and data patterns that support analytics, AI and connections to external data sets and systems
• Create and lead architecture roadmaps that support product planning and delivery
• Communicate architecture strategies and complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences, partners and customers
• Evaluate and select technologies, collaborate across teams and work on POCs, innovation-driven design and technical mentoring
• Help shape and improve the architecture practice

Required profile

• Deep experience in enterprise software development and architecture, ideally in SaaS environments
• Broad technical capability and proven experience architecting and delivering large-scale enterprise projects
• Experience leading enterprise architecture initiatives, including mentoring and technical leadership
• Strong conceptual thinking, commercial acumen and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with external service providers and make commercially sound technology decisions
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Based in Brisbane or willing to relocate there

Required skills

• Cloud and hybrid environments, including AWS, Azure and/or GCP
• Understanding of non-functional requirements such as security, scalability and performance
• Advantageous: TechnologyOne experience and experience in one of its key vertical markets
