Enrolled Nurse – Breast Imaging

About the role

This specialised Enrolled Nurse position supports the Breast Imaging service within a leading radiology network. You will work closely with Breast Radiologists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure smooth, compassionate imaging experiences for patients.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate and liaise with Breast Radiologists regarding all breast procedures.
• Coordinate patient imaging schedules and manage bookings for breast imaging.
• Complete pre‑booking checklists accurately and act as the primary contact for patients and staff.
• Manage patient recalls, follow up abnormal results, and obtain external imaging for review.
• Upload relevant imaging to PACS for Radiologist assessment.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse.
• Previous clinical experience in a hospital or clinic setting.
• Strong organisational, coordination and communication abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience in breast care or women’s health is highly regarded.

Required skills

• PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) usage.
