About the role

Estia Health is recruiting an Enrolled Nurse for its aged care home in Strathalbyn. The role centres on providing clinical care and care planning for residents, with leadership and supervision of Personal Care Workers. Applicants must have previously worked in an aged care home.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical care to residents
• Create comprehensive, individual assessments and care plans for new and existing residents
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation, including AN-ACC and Commonwealth Standards
• Lead and supervise Personal Care Workers and promote a holistic team approach to resident care

Required profile

• Previous experience working in an aged care home
• Nursing Diploma and current AHPRA registration
• Solid clinical documentation and computer skills
• Empathy, the ability to build rapport with residents, families and visitors, and a desire to make a difference
