Engineering Manager

About the role

Lead the Customer Identity engineering teams within a global digital bank, driving system design, development, CI/CD, and production support while shaping platform strategy and roadmaps.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee engineering processes including system design, development, CI/CD, and production support.
• Drive continuous process improvement and contribute to platform strategy and roadmaps.
• Cultivate an innovative culture that promotes lateral thinking, early risk identification, and collaborative problem‑solving.
• Collaborate with engineers to build cutting‑edge technology solutions in the Customer Identity domain.
• Ensure the health of the technology platform and maintain delivery cadence for new features.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing software engineering teams in a fast‑paced, agile environment.
• Strong track record delivering complex engineering initiatives.
• Technical background in software development, preferably Java, with experience in mission‑critical services.

Required skills

• Java development and software design.
• Identity and Access Management (IAM) technologies: OAuth2.0, OIDC, SAML.
• Identity providers and directory services (e.g., Ping, Okta, EntraID, IBM Security Access Management, ISAM, IBM Security Verify).
• Cloud‑based technologies and SaaS platforms.
• Containerisation: Docker, Kubernetes.
