Engineering Integration Manager

About the role

Northrop Grumman Australia is looking for an Engineering Integration Manager to lead the consolidation of its engineering processes, tools and governance into a more cohesive Engineering Management System (EMS). About half of your time will focus on developing and delivering the EMS roadmap, and the other half on working with program teams, engineering leads and capture activities to solve delivery challenges and improve how engineering is executed. The role spans systems engineering, design, technical services, business development and capture, with visibility across multiple programs. It is based in Fortitude Valley or Springfield, Queensland, with hybrid working and a 9-day fortnight.

Key responsibilities

• Own the EMS roadmap and drive delivery of agreed improvement initiatives.
• Lead and develop a small team supporting Engineering People, Process and Tool outcomes.
• Partner with programs, engineering leaders and stakeholders across the business.
• Prioritise resources and coordinate activities to achieve functional objectives.
• Support continuous improvement across engineering capability, governance and execution.

Required profile

• Australian citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an NV1 security clearance (mandatory).
• Experience leading engineering teams, capability initiatives or functional improvement programs.
• Background in defence, aerospace, aviation, transport or another engineering-intensive environment, working across multiple programs and competing priorities.
• Credibility with engineers, program leaders and senior stakeholders, and the ability to influence and build alignment through change.
