Employment Consultant – Inclusive Hiring

About the role

As an Employment Consultant at APM’s Cloverdale site, you will help people with disability secure meaningful, sustainable work. You will act as a bridge between participants and inclusive employers, ensuring each placement aligns with the individual’s strengths and aspirations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and match participants with suitable employment opportunities.
• Build participants’ confidence by highlighting strengths and providing preparation support.
• Develop creative solutions to overcome employment barriers.
• Advocate for inclusive hiring practices and workplace adjustments.
• Celebrate successful placements and recognize milestones.
• Establish and maintain partnerships with diversity‑focused companies.

Required profile

• Commitment to diversity and inclusion, believing everyone deserves a chance to succeed.
• Strong interpersonal skills to connect participants with stakeholders.
• Solution‑oriented mindset with experience creating pathways to success.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to making a lasting impact.
• Background in sales, retail, call centre, hospitality, consulting, business development, or administration is advantageous.
