About the role

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) acts as a strategic advisor to business leaders, driving people‑focused initiatives that enable organisational performance, workforce capability, and a high‑quality employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate, develop and implement HR solutions that address key workforce challenges.
• Provide strategic and operational HR advice to meet business needs.
• Build and sustain relationships across the business to identify opportunities and challenges.
• Support succession planning and employee life‑cycle processes.
• Develop policies, reward and recognition strategies, and retention initiatives.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business or related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience as an HR Business Partner or generalist.
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, modern awards and enterprise agreements.
• Proven ability to support leaders on employee relations and performance matters.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, consultation and communication skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Australian employment law.
• Experience with HR best practices and policy development.
