About the role
Join a vibrant regional centre in tropical North Queensland, serving a population of over 180,000. You will work within a strong team of experienced emergency physicians in a supportive multidisciplinary environment with a focus on teaching.
Key responsibilities
- Provide emergency medical care to a diverse regional population.
- Participate in teaching, ultrasound and simulation programs alongside SSP trainees.
- Support the accredited Paediatric Emergency Department and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.
Required profile
- Fellow of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine or equivalent qualification.
- Registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist Registration.
- Excellent communication skills and commitment to the best clinical outcomes for patients and families.
Required skills
- Proficiency in point‑of‑care ultrasound.
- Experience with clinical simulation training.
