Emergency Medicine Registrar – Perth, WA (ACEM Trainee yr 2/3)

About the role

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Registrar (ACEM trainee year 2/3) to join a high‑volume tertiary Emergency Department in central Perth. The role offers a supportive senior team, protected teaching time and exposure to a diverse adult and paediatric case mix.

Key responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical assessment and treatment to adult and paediatric patients in a high‑volume tertiary ED.
• Work rotating shifts covering the department’s dedicated paediatric area, minor‑injury zone and procedural sedation room.
• Collaborate with onsite radiology, pathology and inpatient specialty teams to ensure timely patient care.
• Participate in protected teaching sessions and supervise junior medical staff as part of the department’s educational programme.

Required profile

• General or provisional registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Previous experience working in an Emergency Department.
• Commitment to team‑based care, continuous learning and professional development.
• Willingness and ability to relocate to Perth (relocation assistance available).
