About the role

This full‑time position is for an Emergency Medicine Registrar (ACEM Trainee) within a busy regional Emergency Department in coastal Queensland. You will join a well‑structured training environment that offers exposure to a broad case mix and strong supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and manage acute and sub‑acute emergency presentations across resuscitation, acute, and fast‑track areas.
• Contribute to a high‑performing multidisciplinary team delivering emergency care.
• Participate in teaching sessions, clinical training, and professional development activities.
• Maintain continuity of care and support departmental performance targets.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
• General Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
• Current ACEM trainee status.
• Ability to commence in the near term and commit to a long‑term placement.
