Electrician – Fixed Plant (Mining)

About the role

The Electrician – Fixed Plant will report to the Electrical Supervisor and carry out electrical maintenance and installation across all surface operations at the Plutonic Gold Mine, including the village and processing plant.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and corrective electrical maintenance on fixed plant equipment.
• Install new electrical systems and components in accordance with statutory and company standards.
• Ensure all work complies with OHS&E, Mine Safety and Inspection Act regulations and company procedures.

Required profile

• Electrical Trade Qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of electrical experience on a mine site.
• Current “C” Class Western Australian Drivers Licence.
• Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets.

Required skills

• HV switching ticket.
• Sound understanding of Fixed Plant maintenance principles.
• Knowledge of fixed processing plant equipment operation.
